There is a lot of talk concerning a run by Rep. Jim Jordan for US Senate, and as Matt Hurley points out, it’s highly unlikely. So I would offer this for your consideration, Seth Morgan for the United State Senate.
Morgan would be one of the best candidates for the US Senate because he is an actual (Big C) Conservative, fiscally responsible, and is not a toady for the Ohio Republican Party. He would truly represent the interests of Ohio as the founders intended.
The benefit would be great for Ohio and Morgan too, by allowing him to gain the valuable legislative knowledge and experience from time spent on Capital Hill, which would be coupled with his state legislative experience in Columbus, in the eventual run for Governor of Ohio.
In Morgan we have a true statesman, not some political hack that can’t make it in the private sector. Who could be a better choice?
